In New Jersey, workers’ compensation is a “no fault” insurance program that provides certain benefits to employees who are injured at work or suffer from a work-related illness. Those benefits include medical benefits, temporary disability benefits and permanent disability benefits. Because it is a “no fault” program, any injured employee who is injured will be entitled to benefits, regardless of who is at fault.
In New Jersey, workers’ compensation cases are taken on a contingent basis, meaning that unless we recover benefits for you, there is no fee involved. All fees must be approved by a Workers’ Compensation Judge, and are capped at 20% of the dollar value of the benefits we recover.
